Midtown Business Associates (MBA) was formed by a volunteer group of business owners and residents in Eugene's "Midtown" (11th to 15th and Charnelton to Ferry) to address the increasingly problematic incidents of crime in our area. Muggings, vandalism and trespassing were becoming commonplace. When the City would not respond adequately to Midtown's call for help, Midtown Business Association, a non-profit 501(c)6, was formed to address the problem by hiring private security to patrol our streets, parking lots and alleys.
